My work explores feelings, memories and nostalgia in the form of abstract and semi abstract art, as well as a narrative of story telling. I like to use my childhood memories from growing up in a large family in Brazil and all the travels I have been able to do after my move to the US as a platform for my art. Inspiration comes in various forms and can be from everyday life: a moment, a smell, a music a picture. It starts with a brush stroke and it takes life from there. I don't always know where it will end, but the journey is always enlightening.
